2009. gadā absolvējusi Helsinku Tehnoloģiju universitāti (tagad – Ālto Universitāte), 2018. gadā dibinājusi savu uzņēmumu “Aino Landscaping” un paralēli praktiskajam darbam gan kā pasniedzēja, gan vieslektore Ālto Universitātē studentiem lasa lekcijas par vērtīgajām ainavām un niansētu pieeju jaunas zemes izmantošanai. Uzņēmums “Aino Landscaping”, realizējot kā privāto dārzu un iekšpagalmu, tā vērienīgus pilsētu un kultūrainavu projektus, savā pieejā akcentē estētiski augstvērtīgu, funkcionālu un ilgtspējīgu ārtelpu. Būtiski, ka uzņēmums nodrošina plašu pakalpojumu spektru, sākot ar ģenerālplānošanas un beidzot ar detalizētu realizācijas projektu izstrādi.

Graduated from Helsinki University of Technology (now Aalto University) in 2009, founded her own company “Aino Landscaping” in 2018 and, in parallel with her practical work, both as a teacher and a guest lecturer at Aalto University, gives lectures to students about valuable landscapes and a nuanced approach to the use of new land. The company “Aino Landscaping”, implementing both private gardens and courtyards and ambitious urban and cultural landscape projects, emphasizes aesthetically high-quality, functional and sustainable outdoor space in its approach. It is important that the company provides a wide range of services, starting from master planning to the development of detailed implementation projects.

Birgitte Hellstrøm studējusi dabas zinātnes, ainavu arhitektūru un plānošanu Norvēģijas Dzīvības zinātņu universitātē un 2000. gadā ieguvusi maģistra grādu. Gadu viņa pavadījusi studijās Kalifornijas Politehniskajā Valsts universitātē Sanlūisobispo (ASV) un vienu vasaru – Vāgeningenas Universitātē Nīderlandē. Savu karjeru Birgitte Hellstrøm sāka kā ainavu arhitekte un pilsētplānotāja Tēlemarkā Norvēģijā, taču ir ceļojusi pa pasauli un strādājusi arī Austrālijā, Briselē un Beļģijā. Tāpat vairākus gadus viņa Tēlemarkā vadījusi stratēģiskās sadarbības projektu starp vietējo, reģionālo un valsts pārvaldi, sadarbojoties gan ar administratīvajiem pārstāvjiem, gan politiķiem pilsētas attīstības un transporta jomā.

Birgitte Hellstrøm studied natural sciences, landscape architecture and planning at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences and received her master’s degree in 2000. She spent a year studying at the California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo (USA) and one summer at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Birgitte Hellstrøm began her career as a landscape architect and urban planner in Telemark, Norway, but has traveled the world and worked in Australia, Brussels and Belgium. She also led a strategic cooperation project between local, regional and national governments in Telemark for several years, working with both administrative representatives and politicians in the field of urban development and transport.

Studējis Tallinas Tehnoloģiju universitātes Tartu koledžā un vienu gadu Kopenhāgenas Universitātē. 2013. gadā ieguvis maģistra grādu. Gadu gaitā, gan darbojoties kādā arhitektūras birojā, gan savā ainavu arhitektūras birojā “VÄLI”, kas dibināts 2012. gadā, viņš strādājis pie neskaitāmiem ainavu arhitektūras projektiem visā Igaunijā. Kopā ar kolēģiem Kristian Nigul uzvarējis un ieguvis balvas vairākos arhitektūras un ainavu arhitektūras konkursos. Tā, piemēram, Igaunijas Ainavu arhitektu asociācija viņa projektiem piešķīrusi nominācijas 2020. un 2024. gadā, savukārt pirmās vietas konkursos – 2021. un 2024. gadā.

Studied at the Tartu College of Tallinn University of Technology and one year at the University of Copenhagen. In 2013, he received his master’s degree. Over the years, both working in an architectural office and in his own landscape architecture office “VÄLI”, founded in 2012, he has worked on countless landscape architecture projects throughout Estonia. Together with his colleagues, Kristian Nigul has won and received awards in several architectural and landscape architecture competitions. For example, the Estonian Association of Landscape Architects has awarded his projects with nominations in 2020 and 2024, while first place in competitions – in 2021 and 2024.

Ramune lasa lekcijas arhitektūras un ainavu arhitektūras studentiem un ir doktorantūras kandidāte Viļņas Ģedimina Tehniskajā universitātē (Vilnius TECH). Viņa konsultē jautājumos par klimata pārmaiņu adaptāciju pilsētu teritorijās, pilsētas ainavas kvalitāti un dabas risinājumu integrāciju nacionālajā likumdošanā un ir ainavu arhitektūras eksperte zaļās infrastruktūras metodoloģijas un ieviešanas projektā. Ramune Baniulienė Vilnius TECH ieguvusi bakalaura grādu arhitektūrā, Griničas Universitātē Londonā – maģistra grādu ainavu arhitektūrā, savukārt ISM Vadības un ekonomikas universitātē attiecīgi 2023. un 2024. gadā pabeigusi vadības un finanšu stratēģijas un vadības moduļus. Viņa ir Ainavu institūta pilntiesīga biedre un Lietuvas Ainavu arhitektu asociācijas biedre. Ar viņas līdzdalību tika izveidota Viļņas pilsētas Zaļās infrastruktūras stratēģija, ieviesta pilsētas mēroga Apstādījumu novērtēšanas metodoloģija un izstrādāts Zaļā indeksa rīks, kā arī kopā ar komandu 2023. gada oktobrī Viļņai palīdzēja iegūt titulu “Eiropas Zaļā galvaspilsēta 2025”.

Ramune gives lectures to architecture and landscape architecture students and is a PhD candidate at Vilnius Gediminas Technical University (Vilnius TECH). She consults on climate change adaptation in urban areas, urban landscape quality and integration of nature-based solutions into national legislation and is a landscape architecture expert in green infrastructure methodology and implementation projects. Ramune Baniulienė holds a Bachelor’s degree in architecture from Vilnius TECH, a Master’s degree in landscape architecture from the University of Greenwich in London, and completed management and financial strategy and management modules at ISM University of Management and Economics in 2023 and 2024, respectively. She is a full member of the Landscape Institute and a member of the Lithuanian Association of Landscape Architects. With her participation, the Vilnius City Green Infrastructure Strategy was created, a city-wide Greenery Assessment methodology was introduced, and the Green Index tool was developed, and together with the team, Vilnius was awarded the title of “European Green Capital 2025” in October 2023.

Tallinas Tehnoloģiju universitātē ieguvusi maģistra grādu ainavu arhitektūrā. Apabsolvējusi arhitektūras programmu Tallinas Lietišķo zinātņu universitātē. Studējusi arhitektūru un pilsētplānošanu Igaunijas Mākslas akadēmijā un daiļdārzniecību un celtniecību Räpinas Dārzkopības skolā. Kopš 2008. gada, interjera un ainavu arhitektūras biroja POLKA līdzdibinātāja. Gadu gaitā strādājusi par Igaunijas dārzkopības žurnāla galveno redaktori, ārštata žurnālisti un vieslektori ainavu dizaina, arhitektūras un apsaimniekošanas priekšmetos dažādās Igaunijas skolās. No 2022. gada ievēlēta par Igaunijas Ainavu arhitektu asociācijas prezidenti.

Graduated with a master´s degree in landscape architecture from the Tallinn University of Technology. Architect´s diploma from the Tallinn University of Applied Sciences. Studied architecture and urban planning at the Estonian Academy of Arts and landscape gardening and construction at the Räpina School of Horticulture. Co-founder of POLKA, interior and landscape architecture bureau, started in 2008. Over the years she has worked as editor-in-chief of Estonian gardening magazine, freelance journalist and guest lecturer of the subjects of landscape design, architecture and maintenance at different schools in Estonia. Since 2022 President of the Estonian Association of Landscape Architects.

Ainavu arhitekts, studējis augu bioloģiju Parīzes Orsē universitātē, scenogrāfiju Ecole Jacques Lecoq Parīzē un ainavu arhitektūru Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Paysage (ENSP) Versaļā. 1985. gadā strādāja Mišela Korahoud ainavu birojā, lai izveidotu Sausset meža parku (200 ha), un 1986. gadā kopā ar partneriem nodibināja aģentūru Agence Ter. Paralēli ainavu arhitektūras praksei 10 gadus strādāja par pasniedzēju ENSP Versaļā un kopš 1998. gada ir Ainavu arhitektūras nodaļas priekšsēdētājs Karlsrūes Tehnoloģiju institūtā (K.I.T.) Vācijā. Darbojies arī kā viesprofesors Hārvardas Dizaina augstskolā. 2000. gadā atvēra biroju “Agence Ter” Vācijā Karlsrūē. 2014. gadā pēc uzvaras Barselonas “Plaza Glories Catalanes” konkursā, tika atklāts birojs Spānijā. 2016. gadā atvēra biroju “Agence Ter” Amerikā Losandželosas pašā centrā. Tajā pašā gadā birojs tika atklāti Šanhajā pēc uzvaras konkursa Huangpu upes parkā (22 km). Kopā ar diviem domubiedriem tika saņemts Grand Prix du National du Paysage 2007 un 2018 Grand Prix de l’Urbanisme (augstākā pilsētvides dizaina atzinība Francijā) par kompānijas “Agence Ter” darbu. Par pēdējo balvu tika izdota grāmata Urbanisme des milieux vivants (Dzīvo sistēmu urbānisms).

Henri Bava (born 1957), landscape architect, studied plant biology at the University of Paris-Orsay, scenography at Ecole Jacques Lecoq in Paris and landscape architecture at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Paysage, (ENSP) Versailles. He worked in Michel Corajoud’s  landscape office in 1985, for the realization of the Sausset forest parc (200 ha), and in 1986 , he founded Agence Ter in Paris with his partners Michel Hössler and Olivier Philippe. In parallel with his practice of landscape architecture, he taught for 10 years at ENSP Versailles and, since 1998, he has been the chairman of the Landscape architecture Department at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (K.I.T.) in Germany.  He has been invited several times as a guest professor at the Graduate School of Design, Harvard. In 2000, Agence Ter opened a German office in Karlsruhe;  in 2014, following the winning of the competition for Barcelona’s “Plaza Glories Catalanes”, a Spanish office was set up. In 2016, Henri Bava led the winning team for the renewal of Pershing Square, and has opened the American office of Agence Ter, in Downtown Los Angeles. That same year, Agence Ter also opened a branch office in Shanghai following the winning competition of the Huangpu River Park (22km). He received together with his two associates the Grand Prix du National du Paysage in 2007 and in 2018 the Grand Prix de l’Urbanisme (the highest urban design distinction in France) for all of Agence Ter’s work. For this last prize, they published the book Urbanisme des milieux vivants (Urbanism of Living Systems).

LOLA ir akronīms vārda savienojumam Zudušās ainavas, kas radušās, aizraujoties ar piedzīvojumiem bagātu nomali, poētisku pārpalikušo telpu un spontānu dabu. Tajā pašā laikā biroja izaugsme aizveda pie lieliem projektiem, piemēram, Adidas HQ pilsētiņu un Shenzhen Bay Park. Ar pašiniciatīvu dizaina izpēti un kuratora darbu Peter turpina strādāt pie tēmām, kas pelnījušas lielāku uzmanību (ainavu) arhitektūras jomā. Jaunākie pētījumi ir vērsti uz ainavām pēc katastrofas, oglekļa pozitīvām zemes izmantošanu, apmežošanu un klimata pielāgošanos pilsētvidē. 2013. gadā saņēmis Roterdamas Māskanta balvu jaunajiem arhitektiem, 2014. gadā TOPOS ainavu balvu. Līdzautors LOLA pirmajai monogrāfijai “Zudušās ainavas” un otrajai “Šaravadgi meklējot”. Pagājušajā gadā bija līdzkurators Roterdamas starptautiskajai arhitektūras biennālei ar nosaukumu “It’s About Time – The Architecture of Change’”.

Landscape architect and co-founder of LOLA Landscape Architects (Rotterdam, Shenzhen). LOLA is an acronym for Lost Landscapes, which is born out of a fascination for the adventurous fringe, poetic leftover space, and spontaneous nature. At the same time, the growth of the office led to large projects like the adidas HQ campus, and Shenzhen Bay Park. With self-initiated design research and curatorial work, he keeps on working on topics that deserve more attention in the field of (landscape) architecture. Recent research focused on post-disaster landscapes, carbon positive land use, afforestation, and climate adaptation in the urban environment. In 2013, he received the Rotterdam Maaskant Prize for Young Architects, in 2014 the TOPOS landscape award. He co-wrote LOLA’s first monograph, ‘Lost Landscapes’, and the second, ‘In Search of Sharawadgi’. Last year, he co-curated the International Architecture Biennale Rotterdam, titled ‘It’s About Time – The Architecture of Change’.

Bruno ir absolvējis ainavu arhitektūras studijas Lisabonas Universitātē (PT) un Berlīnes Tehniskajā universitātē (DE), kam sekoja doktora studijas Otago Universitātē (NZ). Praktizējis Vācijā, Igaunijā, Apvienotajā Karalistē un Aotearoa-Jaunzēlandē, veidojot plašu būvprojektu portfolio. Pēdējo astoņu gadu laikā Velingtonas Viktorijas universitātē Aotearoa-Jaunzēlandē ir izstrādājis visaptverošu pētniecības programmu, lai aptvertu ainavu rehabilitācijas, kultūras ainavu, vietu veidošanas un pamatiedzīvotāju kopienas veselības un labklājības sistēmu formulēšanu. Pašlaik ir Velingtonas Viktorijas universitātes Arhitektūras un dizaina inovāciju fakultātes asociētais dekāns un bijušais Ainavu arhitektūras nodaļas vadītājs. Kopš 2008. gada aktīvi darbojas Starptautiskā Ainavu arhitektu federācijā (IFLA), pēdējo reizi ieņēmis Komunikāciju un ārējo attiecību priekšsēdētāja pienākumus (2014-2018).

Bruno completed his Landscape Architecture studies at Lisbon University (PT) and Berlin Technical University (DE), followed by his PhD studies at the University of Otago (NZ). He has practised in Germany, Estonia, the United Kingdom and Aotearoa-New Zealand, having an extensive portfolio of built projects. During the past eight years at Victoria University of Wellington in Aotearoa-New Zealand, he has developed a comprehensive research agenda to embrace the formulation of frameworks on landscape rehabilitation, cultural landscapes, place-making and Indigenous community health and wellbeing. He currently is the Associate Dean for the Faculty of Architecture and Design Innovation at Victoria University of Wellington and the immediate past Head of the Landscape Architecture Department. He has been a long-standing contributor to the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) since 2008, most recently acting as the Standing Chair for Communications and External Relations (2014-2018).

Studējusi ainavu arhitektūru Helsinku Tehnoloģiju universitātes Arhitektūras nodaļā (tagad Aalto Universitāte) un absolvējusi 2003. gadā. Kopš tā laika ir regulāra vieslektore Universitātē par ainavu arhitektūras tēmām. Pašlaik Pia ir Somijas Ainavu arhitektu asociācijas prezidente un Somijas Ainavu industriju asociācijas valdes locekle. Strādājusi pie daudziem publiskās ārtelpas projektiem un vēsturiskām objektiem Somijā. Pia spēcīgākās zināšanas ir ainavu dizainā, urbānā vide, projektēšanā, kur pilsētvide tiek atspoguļota ar arhitektūru.

Partnere uzņēmumā ”Loci Landscape Architects” kas dibināts 2008. gadā Helsinkos. Loci ir dizaineru piederoša aģentūra, kas ir pilna ar entuziasmu, unikāliem un aktīviem ainavu profesionāļiem. Pia Kuusiniemi studied landscape architecture at Helsinki University of Technology, Department of Architecture (now Aalto University) and graduated in 2003. She has been a regular guest speaker on landscape architecture topics at the University since. Currently Pia is the President of the Finnish Association of Landscape Architects and a member of the Board of The Finnish Association of Landscape Industries. She has worked on numerous public space projects and historical environments in Finland. Her expertise lies in landscape design in built environments, especially in design where the urban environment is reflected with the architecture.

Pia is a founding partner at Loci Landscape Architects Ltd, which was established in Helsinki in 2008. Loci is a designer-owned agency, full of enthusiastic, unique, and active landscape professionals. Loci takes pride in ensuring that landscape values, sustainability and beauty are considered throughout the project from start to finish. The core belief of Loci is that everyone has the right to enjoy nature and the landscape.
